Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) operates at on the premise that one’s thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviours are interconnected, and that negative thought patterns can perpetuate a cycle of negativity. This therapeutic approach equips individuals with practical strategies applicable to their daily lives, extending beyond the duration of treatment.

By emphasizing personal agency in altering one’s cognition, emotion, and behaviour, CBT stands as a potent intervention. Through targeted interventions, clients learn to disrupt and transform negative cognitive patterns, thereby enhancing emotional well-being. Distinguished from traditional psychotherapies that delve into past issues, CBT focuses on addressing present difficulties while actively seeking actionable solutions to foster ongoing mental resilience and positivity.

Psychology of Selves

This technique applies the and entails a collaborative exploration of various facets of an individual’s subconscious mind to uncover the underlying causes of symptoms and facilitate integration between fragmented aspects of the psyche. By delving into the depths of the subconscious, therapists aim to unearth unresolved issues and subconscious patterns that may be contributing to distress or dysfunction. Through this process, a bridge is constructed between the fragmented parts of the individual’s psyche and their adult subconscious, fostering a deeper understanding and paving the way for therapeutic intervention aimed at restoring a sense of wholeness.

Central to this approach is the recognition that many psychological symptoms and challenges stem from unresolved issues buried within the subconscious mind. By working to bring these underlying factors to light, therapists empower individuals to gain insight into their experiences and emotions, ultimately facilitating healing and transformation. Through a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic process, individuals are supported in addressing and integrating these fragmented aspects of the self, promoting greater self-awareness, resilience, and overall well-being.

Quantum Visualisation

Visualization serves as a powerful tool for manifesting desired outcomes by immersing oneself in the imagined reality of achieving future goals as if they were already accomplished. This practice engages all five senses to create a vivid and immersive mental experience of the process and or the outcome.

By directing the focus of the subconscious mind towards the envisioned end goal, visualization serves as a constant reminder and prompts the brain to respond as if the desired outcome were already a present reality. Through consistent engagement with visualization, individuals train their minds to align with their aspirations, fostering a mindset conducive to realizing their dreams.

Age / Time Regression

Regression proves invaluable in the therapeutic realm, serving as a potent tool for addressing phobias, retrieving memories, resolving past traumas, managing physical symptoms, and tackling various issues. In situations where regression is impractical or not advisable—such as when a client is contending with depression or has not consulted with their medical doctor—alternative approaches like inner work become instrumental. Through inner work, the aim is to establish a connection between the positive and wounded aspects of the inner child. Additionally, the psychology of selves can be employed to identify and engage with supportive aspects. Recognizing that fears manifest in the body, each with its unique trigger, underscores the importance of comprehensive exploration for effective therapeutic interventions.

Inner Child Work

Likewise, engaging in inner child involves a therapeutic process aimed at fostering communication between the inner child, representing the unconscious aspects of oneself, and the adult self, symbolizing conscious awareness. The primary objective is to bring the unconscious elements into the realm of conscious understanding, enabling the individual to gain insights into deep-seated beliefs and behaviours. By establishing this dialogue, the therapist facilitates a transformative journey wherein the adult self can offer compassion, understanding, and support to the wounded inner child. Through this exchange, the individual can begin to reframe past experiences, challenging core beliefs and scripts, and fostering healing and growth.

In this process, the inner child receives vital messages of reassurance and validation, dispelling feelings of blame and disapproval instilled during formative years. The adult self plays a crucial role in providing the inner child with the understanding that it was not at fault for past experiences of neglect or criticism. By offering love, acceptance, and a new narrative, the adult self empowers the inner child to release outdated beliefs and embrace a healthier, more compassionate perspective. This collaborative effort between the inner child and the adult self paves the way for profound emotional healing and personal transformation.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) emerges as a dynamic and inclusive psychotherapeutic modality aimed at guiding individuals through the processing and recovering from past experiences that have left a lingering impact on their mental health and overall well-being. Through a meticulously structured approach, EMDR combines bilateral stimulation, often in the form of side-to-side eye movements, with talk therapy to facilitate profound healing and transformation. By integrating these elements, EMDR offers a tailored and holistic framework for addressing the negative imagery, emotions, beliefs, and bodily sensations linked to traumatic memories that appear to be entrenched or unresolved.

Originally developed as a specialized therapy for addressing trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), EMDR has garnered recognition for its versatility in addressing a spectrum of mental health challenges. Beyond trauma-related conditions, EMDR has demonstrated efficacy in assisting individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, addictive behaviors, relational difficulties, and even more severe mental illnesses such as psychosis and personality disorders. This expansive applicability underscores the adaptability and effectiveness of EMDR as a transformative tool in fostering psychological resilience and well-being across diverse populations and conditions.

This profound experience harnesses the therapeutic resonance of the drum to guide individuals into the depths of their inner selves, facilitating introspection and the pursuit of answers to pressing questions, fostering reconciliation with one’s inner child, and reclaiming strength lost amid past trials.

Emotional and physical healing may ensue for some, as the harmonization and relaxation of personal energies allow the innate healing potential of the body to manifest, ushering in positive transformations across various aspects of life. The insights gained from this journey inward are unique to each individual’s spiritual path and personal exploration.

Important Self Care

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: When working with the subconscious you want to take good and loving care of yourself. After all, you are doing impressive self-transformation work to feel better and more connected with yourself and the world around you.

We, and so you, reserve the right to refuse the session if we feel physically unsafe, disrespected or abused, or whether we suspect that the person is under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol.

Please note that when the session has finished (in person or online) you may feel very relaxed, and it is therefore recommended that you should stand up slowly from the couch/chair/floor and leave a short period of time before resuming a normal routine.

Following the session, please refrain from driving or operating machinery until you feel fully alert and able to do so. We advise having a fruit or snack and a bottle of water handy. This is to ensure you are fully alert before driving away or resuming your daily life. Please be mindful of any other circumstances that may affect your safety.

During or after the session, distressing, unresolved memories or emotions may surface. You could experience reactions that neither you nor me, may have anticipated. This can include a high level of emotion or physical sensations.

Following the session, you can sometimes feel “out of sorts” or like when you just woke up in the morning due to the subconscious or energy work that has been completed. This is very normal as the inner mind begins to work with its many potentials and resources.

After the session, the processing of physical and mental wellbeing may continue, in the form of physical changes, dreams, memories, feelings etc. You may feel emotional or even lighter in emotions. Any reaction whether positive or negative may occur, but this is normal and expected. If you have no reaction at all, this is fine too.

We would like to give you a few days to process your findings after your inner work. But if you need to talk to us earlier, please WhatsApp on (+44) 0 7 7 1 5 2 2 1 6 4 3 . You are not alone!
